Red Velvetfish (Gnathanacanthus goetzeei).

Paraploactis intonsa (Beared Velvetfish) spotted by Lily Lily
Western Australia,
Velvet Fish - Red Velvet Fish 0 Sub-adult specimen approx 8cm. Found on an open sandy patch at the end of Ammo Jetty, Western Australia. Observed the fish 'walking' across the sand using its pelvic fins. Fish appeared very healthy.
