This recent article in Australian Geographic talks about how our plants and animals are coping with climate change - with focus on terrestrial species.
For many species in the marine environment (e.g. where habitats are connected and larval stages exist) there may be less pressure to adapt to changing conditions…. Since it’s easier just to move to a preferred temperature (which is what your observations in Redmap have been documenting!).
