Redmap helps protect marine life and monitor climate change

Redmap is a marine ecosystem monitoring project based in Tasmania but covering the majority of the Australian coast. Behind the project’s success is a simple but innovative idea: that fishers, divers and other ‘citizen scientists’ feed the key data into the system themselves, logging significant sightings along with a photo of the find and location.
