About this species
Juveniles are mottled with yellow, brown and black colours. Adults are deep brown to black on the upper surface becoming silvery grey towards the belly. Adults also contain a steep sloping head profile, the caudal and posterior fins are all rounded giving the appearance of three fins (hence the common name Tripletail). Read more…
