Leatherback Turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) Spotted in Fortescue Bay about 3.30pm, 7/3.2024. Also hooked a striped marlin about 5pm off Waterfall Bay. Was solo in the boat so no pics - take it or leave it! Second one this year; the other was just inside the shelf about a fortnight ago

About this species
Otherwise known as leatherbacks, these turtles have the largest range of any sea turtle and are found in all oceans of the world.
