Southern soft coral

Large (2m high) soft corals, pinky mauve colour. Populations are known to occur in Pt Stephens estuary, but very little is known about the presence of populations outside of this location.

Undergoing substantial decline in part of range.

Very limited information about distribution currently available; has been seen in Pt Stephens, Brisbane Water and Sydney Harbour.

Soft sediment at approx 10-16m
