Sea snakes are cold blooded reptiles, and can be found in tropical waters. With their streamlined, boat-shaped body and flattened, paddle-like tail, sea snakes are well adapted to marine life. Sea snakes vary in size and colour.

Length: Up to 2.75 m

Habitat

Open ocean and coastal reefs and mudflats; 0-90 m depth
